Lixandria's Position
on AI
Lixandra understands that authors are the lifeblood of publishing. We are therefore extremely author-centric in our approach to interacting with written works and enhancing the publishing ecosystem.
Since we are in favor of strengthening and diversifying the publishing ecosystem, Lixandria exists to help authors and publishers leverage the power of AI in a way that is morally and financially sound for the publishing community.
Authors will always be fairly compensated and credited wherever their work is used.
Publishers must receive consent from authors to have their work listed on Lixandria.
We do not use the works of authors to train our AI system, and data will be made freely available to authors and publishers.
Lixandria also takes the approach that the development of technologies should be balanced with the protection of human authorship. Any AI-generated art and/or text will be disclosed.
Lixandria supports the belief that technologies should be regulated by laws and policies around technological development. Furthermore, we support legislative action and organizations that advocate for policy and legislative interventions to protect creative markets from generative AI.
